My goal was to create an intimate environment where we as women could come together and discuss our goals, visions, purpose and legacies while addressing and overcoming fears or insecurities that hold us back. I wanted to address the power in our stories and how unmasking our truths lead to discovering our purpose, birthing our vision and living our legacies. I would like to report that the mission was accomplished. This intimate discussion event is something that I plan to continue doing so we can get down to work on really living in our legacy and embracing the God-given purpose that we each have. Until next time!

Last year the United Nations launched International Day of the Girl which raises awareness and advocates rights for education, freedom and liberties for girls all over the world.
This year’s International Day of the Girl was on Fri. Oct 11th and in honor of it, we partnered with non-profit organization, The Opportunity Network for a one-of-a-kind event titled The Beauty, Style & Legacy Exchange. We created an uplifting, transformative, inspiring 3-part workshop for about (40) teenage girls. Our girls walked away empowered, and renewed. We hosted workshops on the essence of beauty, conquering life’s giants and unique style empowerment techniques. We laughed, learned and loved. Our girls need to know that they matter and that’s exactly what we did.
Thank you to our supporters Jamba Juice, Carol’s Daughter, Vera Moore Cosmetics, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, IMAN Cosmetics and The Opportunity Network for truly making this a MAGNIFICENT event!
