Embrace Her Community is our platform in which we connect you with various service and volunteer opportunities where you can directly impact the lives of others. Well, isn’t that the core of what your legacy is about? This is your chance to spread your fabulousity, greatness, and spirit. As a double whammy, you also get to build relationships with some pretty awesome women who are part of our community. Our previous Embrace Her Community initiatives have included volunteering at the Revlon Run/Walk Against Cancer, Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure and several confidence and beauty workshops with “at risk” youth in New York City.

Embrace Her Legacy works closely with NYC non-profit organization, Building Young Minds, in creating programs that will educate young women on how to embrace their legacy and empower them with the knowledge needed to develop self-esteem and self-awareness. Another SUCCESSFUL Embrace Her Community event! If you didn’t know, Embrace Her Legacy was a proud media supporter of the Komen NYC Race for the Cure and their launch week City in Pink which both raise breast cancer awareness. Did you know the 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime? As supporters of this incredible cause we lit our website in pink and hosted a volunteer team on the day of the NYC race on Sept 8th, 2013. We’re looking forward to next year and those Embrace Her Legacy t-shirts you see are coming soon 🙂

Embrace Her Legacy launched our Embrace Her Community initiative and joined the fight against women cancers and volunteered at the Revlon Run/Walk in NYC on May 4th! It was such an amazing and FUN day of service as we eagerly handed out water to the run/walk participants. It touched my heart to see so many people supporting loved ones and lost family and friends who have been effected by cancer…it was such an honor to service these lovely individuals and we look forward to doing it again and again and again.
Our Embrace Her Community efforts are all about connecting you, yes YOU, with social platforms where you can be of service, impact lives and build your legacy!
